BOROUGH CHAMPIONS!

Having come so close in recent years, and 2nd last year after a points count back, John Fisher were finally able to put the consistent performance together across all age groups to win the Sutton Borough Cross-Country Championships

The 1 mile course was, as usual, brilliantly marked at Sutton Grammar, and a good XC course with flat, wooded areas and a small hill to contend with. Perfect running weather meant we were up for the start.

JFS had come fully prepared, with Miss Tomes and Francis as usual, alongside Mr O'Hallaran and Mr Street in support!

The First Years ran brilliantly to tie in 1st Place

4th Adam Reeves
6th Daniel Finch
10th Ollie Hession
25th Lucion Gillian
30th Charlie Bond
48th Roberto Holmes
50th Archie McCabe
54th Aidan O'Sulivan
55th Aidan Orpin
62nd  Daniel Borici
68th Ollie Rayner - Injured at the end at had to walk in at the back

The Year 8/9 Team ran very well and finished in 4th Place

5th Chris Finch
17th Ryan Wiafe
18th Luca Dodd
23rd Chidalu Obimah
24th Oliver Anstee
42nd Emmanuel Victor
60th Lucas Hammond
61st Kaspar Gorkas
INJ Patrick Gallagher

The Year 10/11 team finished a well deserved 2nd place

4th Freddy Georgiou
9th Joe Roberts
15th Ebuka Nkamuo
16th Chisoro Nkumau
20th Jamie Smith
21st Alfie Smith
24th Paul Hewitt
25th Joe Ketcher
29th Kevin Duah
32nd Max Dickson
41st Jack Hession
58th Alex Romanowski

The Seniors lost their long-standing crown to an impressive Sutton Grammar and finished in a very creditable 2nd place

4th Robbie Tambling
8th Malachi Messette
10th Harry Smith
14th Shaun Bernadet
15th Darren Reginald
16th Teddy Dwyer

So when the results were counted, after an afternoon of hard graft we had finished tied with Wilsons, so the overall finishing
points are then counted

This resulted in a John Fisher win by 6 points!

WELL DONE TO ALL THE SQUAD - A REAL TEAM EFFORT
