What a fantastic team effort at Charterhouse last Saturday, well done to all runners.
The course is difficult with the famous hill towards the end, but is mostly forest and open grass. Conditions were chilly but not too cold, and the field was relatively small. Running in such glorious surroundings, in a school founded by Henry VIII is a great occasion for all.The Junior team was Years 7-9 and thus was packed with talent, below are the results

Inters (4.4 miles)
The Inters team was compact and determined, the course would be very tough, 2 laps meaning 4.4 miles and twice up the hill. Running with the Seniors also meant it was very hard to determine just how well you were doing.
Well it turns out they did very well WINNING the competition!
4. Harry Smith 29.28
7. Joe Logue 31.59 (2016
– 33.15)
8. Peter Edwards 32.34
9. Malachi Messette

Ricky Lutakome 24.44 (25.17)

Ryan Galvin 30.25
43 runners
The Seniors had just 2 runners, but still both ran superbly in what is their last run at Charterhouse. Ryan picked up an injury mid-way round the course, but Ricky finished with ease, 2 minutes ahead of second place. Domination is the only word. Well done to Ricky and Ryan
