WHITGIFT RACE

The short distance to Whitgift saw a very good turnout and some excellent performances

The weather was brisk but not freezing, and the course (2k for Jnrs, 4k for Inters and Seniors) was challenging but varied.

The Juniors ran extremely well and finished in their best position for a number of races

A great run by Jacob Hanbury on loan from Rugby alongside the normal expertise of Alfie and Freddie. Special mention this week to Joseph Roberts who ended as the 4th scorer in the A Team after his best run of the season by far.

Well done to all!

The Galvin's ran with their normal skill and determination, and well done John Erne on his return and to McAllister who is showing all what he has hidden for many seasons. The Halfacre twins buoyed by the support from family both ran well.

So the term ends on a high with Kennedy Cup to come. Full Cross Country report to be posted on the blog Friday
